Private Studio

Julia guides a limited number of weekly private students ranging from young beginners to artist level high school students auditioning for conservatories. Students can be heard in recitals, regional performances, Spokane Public Radio, regional and national competitions, with the Spokane Youth Symphony, and MusicFest Northwest.
Master/technique Classes
Rate: $150/hr; Zoom or in person. Travel fees apply if further than 30 miles from Spokane.
Available to studio teachers of all levels. Julia is available to teach groups of your students in a public Zoom setting. These usually work best with 3-4 students per hour for younger students, and 2 students per hour with older students (or longer rep). Classes can focus on students’ individual repertoire or group fundamentals.
Supplementary Lessons
Rate: $100/hour; Zoom or in-person availability
Supplementary lessons are available for students of all levels seeking to get occasional extra input into specific aspects of their playing, often in preparation for major auditions and competitions. These lessons MUST be supplementary to regularly scheduled lessons with your private teacher and with their advance knowledge.
orchestra/Chamber sectionals
Rate: $150/hr; Zoom or in person for local requests. Travel fees apply if further than 30 miles from Spokane.
Available for youth orchestra and school orchestra groups. Julia will coach your violin or viola students in technique building exercises or targeted work on your chosen orchestra repertoire.
